Auto Care Free - Car Maintenance Service and Gas Log App Reviews

This app was one of about four freebies I downloaded to track oil changes, etc. Amazingly, this was the ONLY one that actually worked. Everything is fairly intuitive, though the "suggested maintenance interval" on some items is a bit out of date, vs newer cars. No spam, no crashes. I wasnt expecting it to have fuel economy--this was a happy bonus.

Just what I need.....wish it had a place to separate bill so I can see how much carbon tax Im paying.

Tried both apps. This one looks a bit bland and "dumbed down". AUTOsist looks better and seems more intuitive. The only drawback to AUTOsist is that you have to upgrade to the paid version to have full features and when you get the most expensive version, youre still limited to 5 vehicles. Otherwise, the features seems to be about the same. You can schedule reminders and track mileage and maintenance in both.

Ive only had this downloaded for a couple of weeks, and Im very impressed. It does a great job of tracking fuel use, and you can add & even customize maintenance intervals & items. I had to back a couple things out, but that was due to errors putting numbers in. If you input one number, then correct it to a lower one, the highest one is still recorded until you delete the wrong entry completely & re-enter.

This app keeps track of all your auto-related expenses and services. Its customizable, its straightforward, and its a cinch to use. Additionally, I really like the reminders for any upcoming monthly maintenance. This is truly a great app that got it right the first time. 5+ stars!!!!!!

Perfect for tracking vehicle maintenance. I mainly use it to calculate the mileage of my car.

No one should complaint about this free app. I own 6 vehicles and now I am able to keep close track on it. Specially Tire rotation.

I use this app to log the maintenance for two cars. Works great. Will upgrade soon to be able to print. Wish list: Be able to edit car info and also be able to set intervals for other types of repairs.

Best way to take care of my car

I used to track my gas mileage on an excel spreadsheet at work. After changing jobs I lost all of my data. I decided to look at apps. For free, this one seems to do I wanted it to do and more!

I keep all my maintenance records in here for each car! Not only does it help me budget for car repairs, it also, lets me see readily how long the battery and the tires, etc, are lasting!!! Great app!!!
